The Country Food & Dining EIS raised £1 million in 2010 for a portfolio of companies to invest in new and existing businesses that combine café style dining and farm shop retailing on standalone out-of-town freehold or long lease hold sites.

The Fund aims to capitalise on the rise of pub dining and the increased consumer awareness about food production methods and sourcing. By acquiring, developing and managing farm shops with dining facilities, Country Food aims to meet both these demands, with the added advantage that the one will benefit the other through cross selling opportunities.
